I am analyzing the current capabilities of highcharts and d3 in terms of the chart types that could be built using these libraries. It seems the comparison matrix published on the fusioncharts site is a bit outdated. For e.g. We could build Pareto charts with D3 but the site states otherwise. We could build marimekko charts with the highcharts library but its stated No on the site.
Could someone share some insights on what are the chart types that only possible to be built using D3 and not highcharts? I suppose the chord chart and the tree graph are few of the examples
