We are using FusionMaps V3 in our web application. We don't see zoom in and zoom out feature in FusionMapsV3, Could you please assist me how to do zoom in and zoom out by using FusionMaps V3 API. We tried to zoom in and zoom out using embedded flash movie, but the zooming effect is applying in the data labels and legend too which we don't want. Could please inform me how we can achieve this.

Hi,

I am afraid, as of now, FusionMaps does not support zooming feature.

Hi,

I'm evaluating FusionCharts and Widgets at the moment. Lots of nice tools. I haven't spent too long on the evaluation at the moment but it looks promising.

Could you tell me if the zoom option is on the agenda (or have I missed it and it's already there!?). I know that this sort of functionality is useful when you have complex charts (e.g. dual y axis with overlay would be a good example where there's probably too much data to *not* need zoom)

Look forward to hearing from you...

Thanks

David

Hi David,

I'm afraid, as of now, we do not support zoom in/out functions in any of our products.

Hi Pallav,

That's a shame - any plans to implement this functionality?

Also, what about vertical scroll on Gantt charts? Any plans there either?

Thanks

David

Hi David,

Both of them are in our v4 roadmap - to be released later this year.

Is there a timeline to this enhancement. End of year will be GA or beta release?

Cheers.

Hello Samrat,

Welcome to the FusionCharts Forum. :D

FusionCharts v4 has a tentative release set in Q1 2010. This will be a Major Product upgrade i.e. from v3 to v4.
