Hi, how do we adjust the column width size that shows up automatically on column 2D charts? I want the columns on the chart to be narrower than they are right now, they look too thick. How do we adjust the column widths of these charts?

You can actually increase the plot space percent using [chart plotSpacePercent='50' ...] to decrease column width.

[chart plotSpacePercent='50' ...]

Where does this tag go? In the XML file the structure is like

< graph>

< set ....>

< / graph>

I'm sorry but it's only in v3 and not in free version.

Hi,

I am using a v3. Just for confirmation, is there no way that I can control the width of the column bar? I am using Scroll Column. I need to make the column width thinner, when I used the plotSpacePercent it just added a space in between the bars. But what I need to do is to make the column width thinner and the space in between the column should be thin as well, is there any other work around on it?

Thanks,

Hello,

The attributes plotSpacePercent and numVisiblePlot, when used together, can be used to effectively control the width of a column in a 2D scroll column chart.

I hope this helps! :)

Thanks Dhruva. I hope soon you'll release the ability to control the column width and the plotspacing without affecting the column width, but the workaround works well. Thanks again!  :)

Yes.

The 'plotSpacePercent' attribute caters to the space allotted in-between the columns/bars and also the width of the same. :)
