Shift values so they aren't on the line i.e. 0 not at bottom of y axis

Is it possible to shift the values on the y axis up without setting yAxisMinValue to a negative number? I have some things on a chart that end up being 0 (or close to 0), and the numbers are running into the bottom line of the chart. I'd like to shift the values up from the bottom (or down from the top.. sides, etc-- so like a margin of sorts) without setting the min/max value lower/higher than necessary (but especially not setting min to negative--since it doesn't make sense to have negative numbers on the chart).

Thanks,

Cameron

My issue may be similar...

I have MSLine plot that one of the datasets has values of zeros.

Data set 1: numbers between 95-100.

Data set 2: numbers between 95-100 with a few numbers with values of 0.

I have used yAxisMinValue ='95' but the chart still has a minimum value of 0 when viewed. If there is data in one of the datasets below the yAxisMinValue is still seems to go to the data. Is there a way around this?

Hi

Work around...

Could you please try connectNullData='1' in chart tag once? :)

Hi, I have a similar requirement. I'm using Line 2D chart and I have plotted some discontinuous data by writing empty set elements. None of the other data go below y-axis value of 20 and I have set the yaxisminvalue = '20' but it still shows as 0. If I set it to a negative value, it works fine.

I've tried putting connectNullData='1' as the workaround suggested but that doesn't do anything for me. Pls advise. Thanks very much in advance.

Rgds,

Karen

Here's the xml extracted from my file. Hope you can see what I've done wrong. I would like the yaxisminvalue to be 20 but it shows 0. Thanks very much for your assistance.

Cheers,

Karen

Hi Basundhara,

Thanks so much for your response. I've had a look at the reference xml file and noticed that there isn't any empty set. I've just added another line with an empty set. If you could confirm is an empty set will cause the yaxisminvalue to drop to 0 with this file. I suspect it does. If so, pls advise if there's any workaround. Thanks so much.

Cheers,

Karen
