Discrete points on linear gauge

I have the following gauge which contains the years from 2002 to 2008. Currently, you have thousands of decimals options to select between the years. Is there a way to make it so that the pointer can only be put on color range midpoints (ie 2002.5, 2003.5 etc)?

Hello,

Uing JavaScript you can check between what range the pointer is residing and then set the pointer value as you need.
