I m working on Flex project which uses Fussion Charts.
When the flex project is build (using Flex Builder) the .swf file displays the Fussion Chart with data, but when the same project is build on export to release (using Flex Builder) the .swf file displays the Fussion Chart with no data.
Can anyone help.
Thanks in advance.

I was under the impression that so far out of all graphic libraries i have used, fusion charts is the best.
but If you are going to say that this is a bug in fusion chart, and you will take so much time to fix it, forget it..
if people cant do this basic testing before releasing a separate product which finally fails their end goal, that too an free as well as premium edition ! ! ! uh ! !
Neva heard anything funnier than this.
what a waste of time only to find it wont work if exported as separate release build, good that i did'nt go for the premium straight away.

We appologize for the inconvenience.
As standalone exported SWF might not give the correct result, it needs a HTML wrapper.
Also, FusionCharts for Flex use External Interface, so please try embeding the same in a html page to work fully.
I hope this helps.

i did not export as a stand alone swf file, as said earlier i exported as a release build.
So it automatically has a html wrapper around it ! ?
i mean when you export it as a release build, lot of things gets created after compilation, and theres one notable file called "index.html" which acts as a wrapper for the project.
So to give a precise reply to your statement, if the above said is how it should work, it aint doing its job.
have uploaded a sample project using which you can compile a release build and check for your self.
Or in case am missing something, please let me know. I would be more than happy to correct it and add yet another reason for fusion charts being the best.
And to the worst part when i try to attach my project file, after 100% upload completion i get this error from this forum. If i were in fusion charts team, i would handle this error very severely (L1 probably)
The application encountered an unexpected problem.

I apologize for the mis-communication.
FusionCharts for Flex does get exported to release without any hassle. All our Online Demos are done exclusively using this process.
There might be some issue which we would like to check from your code.
You can send your code to support@fusioncharts.com or sudipto@fusioncharts.com, we would let you know giving it a higher priority.
Meanwhile, we also have noted down that issues that you are facing in Forum and your suggestions. We always try to set our goals as per your (users'/customers') expectations. It would not be an exception here.

I appreciate the prompt response.
support@fusioncharts.com already have my code to test and now have sent it to sudipto@fusioncharts.com too.
I would be glad to correct the problem in the code to make it work with fusion charts.

When the flex project is build (using Flex Builder) the .swf file displays the Fussion Chart with data, but when the same project is build on export to release (using Flex Builder) the .swf file displays the Fussion Chart with no data.
Could you please send us the sample code that you are using, as an attachment?
Also, could you please check whether charts are getting the data feed correctly or not?
Awaiting your reply.
