Is there a way to do this? For the particular purpose which i'm using this gauge, it does not add any value.

Hi,
Could you please try setting the attribute "radius" to "0" in the <dial> element?
Also, please try not giving any value to the attribute "value" in the <dial> element.

Setting pivotRadius and rearExtension to '0' also cleaned up the effect even more.
