 Hi everybody

How I install FusionCharts in my netbeans project???

I read this in the help:

Installing FusionCharts Free for your web application
Installation of FusionCharts Free for your web application is just a two-step affair:

1.Create a folder named FusionCharts in the root of your application (though, it's not mandatory to name the folder as FusionCharts or create it under root folder. However, it organizes things a lot more, as all the pages within your website can now access the common set of charts).
2.Copy all the SWF files from Download Package > Charts Folder and paste it in this folder.
Installation Complete - Yes, there's no more step involved - you're now ready to use FusionCharts in your web application, which will soon see.

But...it means to create a folder in the WEB-INF folder or out?

They not indicate which files go inside the FusionCharts folder!!!

Please give any orientation, i would want to try fusionchart. I use JFreeChart and it is so good and easy, FusionChart Is also??

Thanks and excume me for my bad english (is not my mother language)

Hi

Welcome to FusionCharts JSP Forum!

Please place the FusionCharts folder containing all the .swf files and other files in the root of your web application - outside WEB-INF.

Also place Includes folder containing FusionChartsRenderer and other useful files in the root of your web application.

You can find the Includes folder here:  Download Package > Code > JSP > Includes

Please take a look at the documentation for the basic samples here:

http://www.fusioncharts.com/free/docs/Contents/JSP_BasicExample.html

Please take a look at the overall documentation here:

http://www.fusioncharts.com/free/docs/ > Using with JSP section.

Hope this helps you get started!

I bet you will love this product once you get started!

Srividya :)

regards,

Hi

I am still confused.! I did create a folder called "FusionCharts" inside it I did copy all the .swf files (not the "Charts" folder only the files). Also I did copy the "Includes" folder inside "FusionCharts" folder.

Now you said : "Please place the FusionCharts folder containing all the .swf files and other files in the root of your web application - outside WEB-INF"

But what do you means with "other files" ??? I see a lot of folders in the package.

Inside the "JSP" folders there are a lot of folders also included "WEB-INF" . I could copy all in my root directory and replace the WEB-INF for example???

The "FusionChartsRenderer" files and the others I think these would must are inside "com" in the clesses folder.

I am sorry but I am really confused with all.
