1.  When I RIGHT-CLICK and select PRINT, the object prints correctly (correct scale)

2.  When I use the IE BROWSER print button, the object prints small (incorrect scale)

Can you please tell me how I might be able to force the IE BROWSER print, to print my object using the correct scale?

Is there a way of rendering the process label onto two lines?

Is there a way of setting the width of this process column? It states in the docs that there is an attribute width for the element but this doesn't work.

And finally, can you set individual heights for the processes rows (not the tasks themselves)? For example set the height of Process 1 to 100px (or 20%) and the height of Process 2 to 200px (or 40%).

I read on the docs that one can "send a command from the server". Can you clarify what does this mean?

For example the above chart is showing data, but if i click off the blue line so i can get a better understanding of the yellow line.

It stays the same it does not rescale. How would i achieve this effect?

I am trying to use HLinearGauge.swf to create Linear Gauge on my web page. I am setting lowerLimit of chart to -0.04 and upperLimit to 0.06. I have a pointer to be shown on the chart.

If I set my pointer value to 0.01, chart is rendered properly. If I set it to 0, chart is not rendering properly.

The only difference in these two xml files is the highlighted pointer value. Try to use these xml files and create a Linear Gauge with HLinearGauge.swf file and see the difference.

I am using bar chart to display year wise records. I also have put click event on each bar which will display month wise chart for that year.

I mean when I click on 2000 bar, it will reload that chart with Jan to Dec month for 2000 year.

Now, my problem is, when user clicks on it very fast say twice or thrice on bar, it is showing wrong result.

So, is there any way to restrict this thing? When user click on any chart, its mouse click event not work for some time.

This solution what I am thinking but please suggest if you have any work around for it.

I've a question about the first load of data.

In a page I have a lot of fusioncharts inserted in portlets.When the portlet is moved,or collapsed,the fusioncharts is reloaded.In this way it lost the data displayed since that moment.

So I want to find out a way to (on the first load) view the previous data displayed and then of course go on with the updating calls..

I've tryed with:

Why does it do this? It is only the guages the real time charts always work.

What would be causing this problem? Is there a way to update the charts without an update panel?

I am trying to load an XML that to me does not look all that great in size.

It has very few tasks but it seems the script trips over the fact that 135 processes need to be loaded.

I get the following well-known error;

"A Script in this movie is causing Macromedia Flash Player 10 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?"

I have read following topic in the knowledge base and disabled animation, removed labels, .. but without effect.

Can someone help me please?

recently i've tried gant fusion widget control with the following problem:

when i load gannt control on fisrt time in page it works fine,

but when i reload ma aspx page and i run an overwrite of xml source file (on event page load) i notice that the gantt control doesn't change in its graphic appearance (when i update xml file i re-write all information with new values..).

Im evaluating fusion charts and widgets.

I've created bar charts with fusion charts for flex and sparline charts using fusion widgets.

fusion widget is not loading if two charts displayed on web page (if other chart is fusion chart or fusionwidget).

if only widget is added on web page it displays well.

is this issue only with evaluation or full version..

I am creating an application that uses a fusionwidget as itemrenderer in an AdvancedDataGrid. But because components are reused in flex, the data is not refreshed to collapse and expand the branch. If I call the method FCRender () in the event "show" of the itemrenderer this becomes very slow.

Any suggestions to optimize this?

When open a browser and clicking on a menu the right chart and gauge is shown.

When clicking on another menu the right chart is shown, but the same gauge even when everything else on the page is correct updated and the .xml file with the data is updated as well.

I use Codeignitor, PHP and the free version of Fusionchart and Fushionwidget.

What is wrong?

I was working on linear gauge . And i found this weird thing. when the data is too small....the rounded cornner of the linear gauge becomes somewat flaten . It works fine with larger data.Is there a flaw in my xml .

I'm using angular gauge in a project that writes data values using coma as decimal separator:

dial value='40,2'

However, it seems the gauge only accepts data having dot as decimal separator and only this format seems to work:

dial value='40.2'

The problem is, this data is written by an external program that collects data and it's data output can't be changed from me. Is there a way to make angular gauge accept coma as decimal separator?

The only thing I can think to do is, on a resize event, determine the new width and height and modify the chart XML xPos and yPos attributes to center the annotations programmatically. [Yuck]

I have Fusionchart for dreamweaver, simply because I do not really know how to code. The question now is...... can I use fusionchart to create the xml required for the FustionWidgets.

There are some nice widgets, especially the real time updating etc, that I like to use. If I can use the code generated by fusionchart for dreamweaver and replace the, lets say the swf file to show the widget that would nice.

Does that make sense?

Please advice if I can do something like this.

Recently i donwloaded fusionwidgets demo version, and i'm trying to work with PHP and MySQL but i can't understand the structure of the code in the examples, i guess is because they are using the URL method, and i want to ask you if somebody can please show me a example using fusionwidgets (angular) + php + mysql.

I'm using a gantt chart to show a number of projects and tasks.

When the chart loads I set the height to 300px...

var myChart = new FusionCharts("lib/charts/Gantt.swf", "myChartId", "927", "300", "0", "0");

The problem is that I need to load a different number of projects everytime and they just get squased if there are too many.

Is there any way the flash file could automatically expand down the page and always have the same size row height allocated to each project...

If you have a look at the image it should be reading 'Test 2' for each line, but its cut off.

I'm trying to rotate the category labels at the top of my Gannt chart, but nothing seems to work.

I've rotated the labels on bar and line graphs with any problems so assumed it would be just as easy.

The picture above is a snapshot of the top of my graph, it should be displaying a date but its only go room for the first number in the day part.

I've tried adding the following to my XML file...

labelDisplay='Rotate' slantLabels='1'

I am using the drawing pad with annotations (as you suggested in a previous post) and it is simply awesome.  See the screenshot below. 

This is driven from the database and allows our users to see graphically what is going on in the yard.  I could not be happier with the way this is turning out!  Thanks!

I have a couple questions:  (I have been through the docs and don't see how I might handle these items)

1.  You will notice on the png below that there are horizontal and vertical parking spaces on the yard.  The horizontal slots are easy to label as you can see.  The vertical slots are different.  Is there a way to display text vertically on the drawing pad?  (I see this on many of the other charts and graphs.

2.  Can I make something in the annotation a link?  I have it setup so that we can hover over a truck and it will provide whatever info we want in the tooltip (very cool!).  Can I put a link in the tooltip?

However, we need to invert - so that the "top" of the funnel is on the bottom, and visa-versa. Is this possible? There is one example (http://www.fusioncharts.com/widgets/Gallery/Funnel2.html) that is inverted, but we need the 3-D pyramid look for this chart.

We have a FusionWidgets Enterprise license. We would like to use the export functionality (export to pdf, jpeg, html) of the Gantt chart, as it worked fine with the trial version. But now with the Enterprise package it doesn't work. We tried the following:

- We extended the functionality of the original chart in the source and compiled it;

- Then we just simply compiled the original source;

- The we tried to use the Gantt.swf file (date: 2008.03.31, size: 80891 bytes) we found in the package.

Unfortunately, export didn't work in any of these cases.

Can someone help me find a solution? Has anyone else come across this problem yet?

I would like to underline any links added for processes or data columns on a Gantt chart when a mouse hover occurs.

I used isUnderline attribute but labels are always underlined. I need underline during hover only and if the link attribute is defined for an element.

Any help would be appreciated.

Your funnel widget looks cool, but I can not get it to display my data as a funnel should...

A correct salesfunnel shows 3 values in one graph, that's the beauty of it:

1) The width of a funnel element (phase) show the absolute number of opportunities in each phase

2) The height shows the avarage duration for opportunities in that phase

3) The drop-off in width between 2 elements show the conversion rate between 2 phases.

That way the shape of a funnel tells you exactly where the bottleneck in your salesprocess is. Any chance of getting that kind of funnel using FusionWidgets?

I want to increase the width of processes shown on the Gantt chart to 300 px.

But it is not happening when I supply the width attribute of processes tag to 300px.

Above should be a multi line chart and below is a Gantt Chart.(Image attached)

The Gantt Chart shows 24 hour time range.(for example from 10/02/2010 (Midnight 12am) to 11/02/2010 (Midnight 12am)).

The multi line chart has time duration in x axis.

The time duration for multi line chart is exactly same as that for Gantt chart.

The time shown on multi line chart should be in sync with Gantt Chart.

Means when seen vertically top to bottom both multi line chart and Gantt chart should show the same point of time.

Means when its 3:15 am for Gantt it should be 3:15 am for multi line,when its 2:31 pm for Gantt it should be 2:31pm for multi line.

Please suggest some solution for this.

One possible thing I could think of was to set canvasLeftMargin of multi line chart = chartLeftMargin of Gantt+process width of Gantt.

Also to set chartRightMargin of Gantt = chartRightMargin of multi line.

I downloaded the demo of FusionWidgets specifically for the Gantt charts. I have a FM Web Viewer displaying the "Gantt.swf" file on a layout.

Is it possible to have FM directly drive the values in the Gantt chart from fields rather than having the values come from the XML file located outside of FileMaker? I'm sure I can script a button to have FM export the XML file with the new values and do a refresh to display the new Gantt chart in a Web Viewer, but I would really prefer to have the data behind the Gantt chart be directly related to FM fields so that the moment a FM field is modified, the change is reflected in the Gantt chart.

I have 3 widget in the same page and 1 page in php, this take the data from mysql, but i need to send this information to 3 diferent widget. I things, if i can make this? but the widget dont take the values from page in php if i push ID to Dial.
