  3. Hand icon on scatter chart data points

Hi Satya, Thanks for the acknowledgement. Thanks, Akash.
  4. Hand icon on scatter chart data points

Hi Akash, Thanks for the reply, I was using the fusion charts v3.12 there I am not able to find the svc chart element for scatter charts, I tried with "Scatter". Now, upgraded the fusion charts version and added the above code, now able to see the hand icon. Thanks, Satya.
  5. Hand icon on scatter chart data points

Hi Satya, Natively FusionCharts does not support displaying the hand tool on hovering the plots on the charts. You could achieve it by setting the style by manipulating the SVG class of the rendered chart accordingly. So, as the SVG structure vary based on for each chart types, you need to catch the class as in the below sample fiddle for Scatter chart : Thanks, Akash.

  7. Hi, Is there any availability of adding hand icon at scatter chart data points when we hover on each point of the data points. Please help me, I have saw it for pie chart there as following: "renderComplete": function(eventObj, dataObj) { Array.from($("[class$=pie]")).forEach(function(elm) { Array.from($(elm).children()).forEach(function(path) { = 'pointer'; }) }) } There I tried changing the class "pie" to "scatter" still it's not working.
  8. Pie Chart Chart Size and Label Position in side Pie

Hi Imran, - Text annotations are static components(custom text) on the chart. It could be placed anywhere on the chart by specifying the "x" and "y" attribute pixel values. So, to place them on top of the pie slices, you need to provide the x and y values according to your pie data. - The radius of the Pie cannot be provided in percentage. If you are setting "pieRadius", that means you are setting the radius in pixels explicitly and it would not be responsive. However, if you do not set the explicit radius, the pie would be responsive. Please note : As per the space management feature, if you hide the default pie labels and values(that appears outside the pie), then the pie dimension increases even without setting the "pieRadius". Also it would be responsive. Thanks, Akash.
  9. label getting converted to anchor tags

Hi Mayank, Could you please elaborate the issue that you are facing. Also it would be great if you could provide a sample replicating this issue so that we can check at our end. Thanks, Akash.
  10. Hi, Yes, zoomTo() and resetChart() API methods for Zoomline chart are available in the current version that is 3.13.5-sr.1. Please refer to the below link for the list of API methods : Also find the below working samples for reference, with no error thrown on invoking these methods on the chart object references : Sample fiddle(zoomTo) : Sample fiddle(resetChart) : Thanks, Akash.
  11. Pie Chart Chart Size and Label Position in side Pie

Hi Akash, Thanks a lot for information and it is going to be very helpful. I would also need few more details: Will it be practical to add Labels in Pie using annotation as we may not be able to find out start and end of related pie slot in case of dynamic data? Is there any way to have pieRadius in percentage so we can control it in responsive application? Thanks and Regards, Imran
  12. When using the zoomline graph, I get a Javascript error when I try to call zoomTo() or resetChart() methods on a FusionCharts object. For example, when trying to call the zoomTo() method, Javascript console displays the error "chartObj.zoomTo is not a function". This happens with fusioncharts.js version 3.13.5-sr1 and 3.13.5. Everything works fine, though, with version 3.13.1. Are those methods still available on in 3.13.5? FusionCharts.ready(function(){ var chartObj = new FusionCharts({ type: 'zoomline',....}); chartObj.render(); chartObj.zoomTo(2, 10); <=== get an error });
  13. Pie Chart Chart Size and Label Position in side Pie

Hi Imran, - The labels/values of the pie slices cannot be displayed on the slices, as it is not supported. Since it might result in overlapping or going out of the slices in case of long labels, so this is natively not supported. - You can explicitly set the pie chart radius using the supported configuration attribute "pieRadius" and set the value in pixels. Please refer to the documentation link : As a work-around you can set the pieRadius to set a large Pie chart, then you can hide the labels, values and legends by setting the attributes showLabels, showValues and showLegend to "0" respectively. To display the label and values on the pie slices, you can use Text annotation feature to display any text on the chart by specifying the "x" and "y" attributes of the annotations object. Documentation link : Also find a sample fiddle implementing the above technique : Please note : Annotations are static in nature. Thanks, Akash.
  14. We would like to adjust following things in Pie Chart in our React Application: We want to show Labels inside Pie instead of in Chart space area with anchors. Increase Pie Size in the chart and to reduce the extra space all around. We tried to use Padding and Margin properties, but they work only up to some level. It will be great if we can find if it is possible to achieve these in fusion charts.
  15. y axis max/min

Hi, Thanks for the acknowledgement. Glad to know that the solutions provided was helpful. Thanks, Akash.
  16. y axis max/min

Thank you Akash, this solved my problem and it works well. I appreciate your responses! TP
  17. y axis max/min

Hi, If you do not want to plot the line or series for numerator and denominator on the chart, but want only the values to show in tooltip on hovering the line plots(of Metric series). Then you can define the "toolText" attributes within individual data objects of a simple line chart, with the numerator and denominator values so that they are shown in the tooltip. Please refer to the below samples for reference : Sample with numerator and denominator(static) in toolText attribute : Sample with numerator and denominator(from variable array) in toolText attribute : Thanks, Akash.
  18. y axis max/min

Hi Akash, Thanks for the response. Is there a way to have the numerator and denominator value in the hover over box without those data sets being charted on the graph? That would meet my need. Thanks! TP
  19. y axis max/min

Hi, Please find the below points with respect to the y-axis limits and dataset values : - The dataset(line series) is plotted against the y-axis. It would accommodate all the provided values within the y-axis range. (For example -if the dataset have values ranging from 0 to 10000, the y-axis would accommodate them in the scale 0 to 10000) - The y-axis limits could be explicitly set using "yAxisMinValue" and "yAxisMaxValue" attributes, but if the values provided in the dataset exceeds the explicitly set limit, the y-axis limits would be modified accordingly to accommodate all the values. (For example - explicitly range set as 0 and 10000, but a value is present in dataset like 10008, then the y-axis scale would be modified) - It is not possible to restrict to plot a value if it exceeds the explicitly set minimum or maximum range of y-axis. So, for your case, when you are plotting numerator and denominator against the y-axis with value ranging on higher side like 1000000, along with the other metric dataset series with values ranging to 100. The single y-axis would accommodate all the values on its scale of 0 to 1000000. Hence, the metric dataset line would appear at the bottom as per the y-axis scale. Alternatively, we would suggest you to use the dual y-axis chart types to overcome this situation. Chart type - mscombidy2d You can plot the "metric" dataset on the secondary y-axis on the right separately, so that it can render on the right axis with a scale of 0 to 100. Please find the below sample for reference : Documentation link : Attribute list : Thanks, Akash.
  20. y axis max/min

Hi, I am trying to create a line chart and need to set y axis max and min values explicitly. I have three data series in the chart. A numerator, a denominator, and a metric which is equal to (numerator/denominator)*100. My numerator values are very high (~1000000) and denominator value is very high too (~850000) with the metric value always being less than 100 (In this example it would equal 85). Because the numerator and denominatorvalues are very high, the scale on the y axis is way out of whack. I don't need to see the lines for numerator and denominator, only have their values in the hover over when hovering over the points on the metric line. Therefore if I could force the scale on the y axis to something like this it would be perfect: chart.yaxisminValue = -50 chart.yaxismaxValue = 150 I can set these chart attributes in the JavaScript and it works fine with only the metric value in the chart. However, when I add my numerator and denominator data it overrides the manual setting of the y axis max/mins and goes out of whack again. Is there a way to not allow the automatic override of the yaxis max/mins? Again, the lines for this data falling out of visibility is not an issue. Thanks! TP
  21. Multi-series Stacked Column w/ subcategories

Hi, Thanks for the acknowledgement. Glad to know that the solution was helpful. However, for positioning the annotations, you can refer to the below documentation for the supported positioning macros that are available : Thanks, Akash.
  22. Multi-series Stacked Column w/ subcategories

Awesome. This does exactly what I need. I'll obviously need to do a bit of tweaking to get them to show up in the right places with different numbers of groups, but that is doable. Thank you for the quick response.
  23. Multi-series Stacked Column w/ subcategories

Hi, As of now FusionCharts does not support sub labels in the x-axis(or category axis) natively. However, if you only want to display the texts "ELA" and "Math" at each of the x-axis labels to signify what the column stack represents, you can use the Text annotations of FusionCharts to display them. Refer to the documentation link for reference to Text annotations : Please note : Annotations are static in nature. Also find a sample fiddle using Text annotation to render the above chart : Thanks, Akash.
  24. Autoexport chart to a location

Hi, To export the chart you need to call the exportChart() API method. Now to export the chart automatically when the chart loads, you can invoke the exportChart() method with in the "renderComplete" API event of FusionCharts. This event is triggered when the chart completes its rendering, hence invoking the exportChart() API method would export the chart automatically when the chart completes rendering. API event list of FusionCharts : Sample fiddle : Thanks, Akash.
  25. Autoexport chart to a location

Akash I read the export server link you provided. That sounds like someone still needs to initiate the export. is that correct? Thanks.
  26. I am trying to create a chart that looks something like the attached image that was created by Tableau. The best I seem to be able to do is the attached screenshot. The issue that I'm concerned about is getting a "subcategory" label. You can see on the Tableau image that the data is labeled by grade and test type, "MATH" or "ELA" I am using msstackedcolumn2d. I know that I can hover over the dataseries to see which are "MATH" and which are "ELA", but I would like to be able to print the charts and have it visible. So I guess what I want to do is add a label to the x axis for each dataset. Is this possible?
  27. Hi All, labels are getting converted to anchor tag in Chrome when I am doing the zoom in to 75%. Please let me know how I can solve this issue. Regards Mayank
  28. Export Entire Chart

Hi, Please replicate the issue in a sample fiddle and provide us so that we can check and get back to you. Sample Gantt chart : Thanks, Akash.
