Upgrading 3.2.2 To 3.2.4 Beta

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am using Fusion Charts 3.2.2 in my project and I recently upgraded to 3.2.4 beta to make use of the Javascript feature for Maps. Also, I have purchased the license for Fusion Chart 3.2.2.

My question is, how do I upgrade Fusion 3.2.4 beta, can I just place the 3.2.4 files on top of licensed 3.2.2?

Please explain me the steps for the upgrade.

Thanks

-Prem

Hi,

You can separately download the FusionMaps XT pack.

FusionMaps XT v(3.2.0) helps you display geographical data distributed by category, regions or entities using JavaScript (HTML5) & Flash.

You can use it to plot business data like revenue by regions, census data like population by state, election results, flight routes, office locations and survey results effectively.

For more information, please refer the following URL:

http://docs.fusioncharts.com/maps/Contents/?introduction/WhatsNew.html

Also, we have released FusionCharts XT v3.2.2 Service Release Version-4.

Being a service release version it has many bug fixes and improvements.

Please refer the following URL for more information:

http://docs.fusioncharts.com/charts/contents/?Introduction/WhatsNew32.html

Also, for upgrading to new version from older version, you would need to:

> Copy all chart SWF files from Download Pack > Charts folder and replace your existing chart SWF files in your deployed folder.

> Copy the new FusionCharts.js from Download Pack > Charts folder and over-write the existing FusionCharts.js in your deployed application folder.

> v3.2.2 (XT) pack contains 2 new JavaScript files, FusionCharts.HC.js, FusionCharts.HC.Charts.js along with FusionCharts.js and jquery.min.js, which you need to copy to the same folder as FusionCharts.js.

> Clear your browser cache (very important step).

Hope this helps!
