PowerChart>DragNode>Basic Chart>Multiple Connectors

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am testing the Basic Drag Node Chart, a part of your Power Charts Bundle.

What I want to do is to have Multiple Relationships between two nodes.  For Example let there be 3 nodes say :-

Node 1> Sanju: Node2> Rajiv: and Node3> Rehan

and in real life following be the relationships (to be drawn using connectors) between them :-

1> Sanju is Friend of Rajiv

2> Sanju has Lent 1000Rs to Rajiv

3>Sanju has bought a Watch from Rehan

4>Rajiv has bought a Pen from Sanju

5>Rehan is Brother of Rajiv.

Based on this data I want to draw a chart as in attached image. Please let me know if this is possible to draw using Drag Node chart. and how should I be constructing the xml data.

Regards

Sanju

Hello Sanju,

Welcome to the Forum!

It should be possible to get this to work using Drag Node Charts in PowerCharts v3.1.

For guidance on how to form a Dag Node Chart can you please visit the following documentation link and go to the section titled 'Drag-node Chart'?

Hope this helps.

Hi Saptarshi,

Thanks for ur Reply. But as u see I need to have multiple relationships ()connectors between two nodes. Can you please tell me if this is possible and how. In the link that you have sent I see only a single relationship (one connector) between two nodes.

Regards,

Sanju

Hello Sanju,

The drag-node chart allows you to connect any two nodes on the chart using connectors. You can have any number of connectors on the chart, as long as two nodes are connected by one connector only.

Please note that two nodes can be connected only using 1 connector.

Hi,

Thanks a ton for your quick response. Is there any chart available in Fusion chart bundle, using which I can show multiple relationships between 2 nodes: if not then is it possible for you to customize the drag node chart for doing this? And with whom can I discuss on this for the pricing details.

Regards,

Sanju

Hey Sanju,

Is there any chart available in Fusion chart bundle, using which I can show multiple relationships between 2 nodes?

The following examples are of the MultiLevel Pie chart from the PowerCharts Suite. The multi-level pie chart is a special type of chart that allows you to show symmetrical and asymmetrical tree structures in a consolidated pie like structure. The advantage of using this chart over a tree view is that you can give a single screen snapshot of the entire data to be presented. Possible uses are visualization of analytics data, organization trees etc.

is it possible for you to customize the drag node chart for doing this? And with whom can I discuss on this for the pricing details.

Could you please drop in a mail at [email protected] for this?

I hope this helps. :)
