Can't change the color of colorRange for VBullet chart

Recommended Posts

Hi,

First of all, thanks for your great product. I never fallen in love with a cool charting component for a long time. :D

Anyway, I got a problem while working on vertical bullet chart as...

- I try to define the custom color for the 'colorRange' of bullet chart by using JavaScript.

Please see the attached image for identical code. (Can't post code here)

But the rendered bullet chart didn't produce the correct color for each colorRange.

It shows the default colors which is gray tone. (I didn't specified 'palette' attribute for the 'chart' tag.

Seems the chart just ignore the 'color' attribute of the 'color' element within 'colorRange'.

Could you please give me a hint to fix this?

Thanks!

Seree W.

Hi Seree,

Welcome to FusionCharts Forum. :D

Can you please attach your XML and a screenshot of the chart so that we may have a look into it and resolve the issue?

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Hi Madhumita,

I've solved the issue by changing the 'color' attribute of the 'color' element within 'colorRange' to 'code'.

I believe it's the error of your document as the sample code instruct to use 'color' instead of 'code'.

Anyway, it's working like a charm now! :D

Cheers!

Yup. I just spent 3 hours trying to make it work following the documentation. I'm glad I finally turned to this forum to find the solution.

BTW, I've found several documentation errors as I work my way through; when I get time I'll try to write them down and get 'em to you.
