Exporting to PDF

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to export the chart as a PDF (or any other format)? The PDF should be able to independently used without access to dataXML. The objective is to email the PDF to other users. Any help or hack is much appreciated.

FusionCharts is rendered on the client side using Macromedia Flash Player. Essentially, FusionCharts is a set of .swf files, which when requested by the users, downloads on his/her machine, reads the XML data and then plots the chart.

Starting FusionCharts v3.0.5, you can now export your charts as images. You may read more on it at:

A live demo is at http://www.fusioncharts.com/GalleryChart.asp?id=1 - just right click on the chart and select "Save as Image".

Hello,

I have jost tested the 'save as image' feature, and it is great. Great job.

But i am looking for a way to generate my PDF reports at the server side.

Is there a way to do this, to render the charts at the server side and save the image? is there a trick to do this? or at least fake this in some way.. ? My company also has a the source code for the charts.

Regards

I would like to be able to export a set of charts (along with additional text and a logo) to a pdf.

Please let me know whether this is possible and how I would go about it.

Many thanks

Hi all,

FusionCharts has evolved with version 3.1 providing a new feature called export. We dropped the saveAsImage feature though.

Please read:

and online sample similar to the sample that you have wished for:

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in FusionCharts, and welcome to the forum. :P

I'm afraid the PDF Export option is not available in FusionCharts Free.
