1. Canvas border and x- and y-axis

Yes! thank you.. I think I've got it.. See below. I tried to apply the same settings to a MsColumn2D chart but that does not work the same way... Is there a way to set the Y-axis in that kind of chart? I have added the modified the xml like this: <categories> <category label='Scenario1/> <vLine linePosition='0'/> <category label='Scenario2' /> <category label='Scenario3' /> </categories> Thanks a lot for making this one work!
2. Canvas border and x- and y-axis

Hello Madhumita, that helped a lot, thanks! I still have one thing that I need to tackle and that is the plotborder color. If I implement the tips you gave me, it looks like this.. If use the showPlotBorder='0', it looks like this: Is there a way to get the best of two worlds? Regards, Sebastian
3. Canvas border and x- and y-axis

[font=" Verdana; WHITE-SPACE: pre-wrap; COLOR: rgb(31,80,128); FONT-SIZE: 13px" class=Apple-style-span>Hi, we have been given some beautiful designs of charts and I have been asked to convert them into Fusioncharts charts. I bump in to the following problem.. None of the charts have borders or canvas borders but they do have an x- and y-axis. I can't imagine it isn't possible since drawing a chart on paper always starts with drawing those axis, but I have been going through the documentation back and forth and I can't find the solution. This is how it should look (the background is white): I'll work out the vertical lines later, but how can I draw the black x- and y-axis? Best regards, Sebastian

Thanks for your input, Rajroop. Regards, Sebastian
5. 4 Newbie questions..

Greetings Rajroop! thanks again for your advice. But it does not produce the required result (yet).. What I need is is halve of the lines of the setting: canvasBorderColor or something similar. As you can see on my screenshot of my former post, I only want to draw the X- and Y-axis, but with my current config they don't show up. (including all your tips, plus the last one (divLineAlpha='0')) Here is my current config: <chart showLegend='1' legendPosition='Right' legendBorderColor='FFFFFF' legendShadow='0' showYAxisValues='1' divLineAlpha='0' alternateHGridColor='FFFFFF' plotSpacePercent='30' bgColor='FFFFFF' showBorder='0' canvasbgColor='FFFFFF' canvasBorderColor='FFFFFF' showPlotBorder='0' numberPrefix='
6. 4 Newbie questions..

Hi Rajoop, thank you for your quick response and your valuable answers. I got everything working now except for one thing and I think it is the most easy (I hope.. ) Question 1 is about drawing the X- and Y-axis. I think I didn't formulate my question clearly. As you can see on the former screenshots, I have to create a chart without Divlines and Vdivlines, the canvas only has one x-line and one y-line. Is it possible just to create those two lines? I have included a screenshot of the chart with the two lines I have to draw.. I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance, Sebastian
7. 4 Newbie questions..

Hi, I haven't used FusionCharts before so I ran into some problems. I have attached a screenshot of how the chart should look in the end and a screenshot of My-Chart. In the designers-screenshot I have translated a couple of words to English so that looks ugly, sorry, and you can forget about the grey lightbox as well. At the end I have included the xml I'm using the MSColumn2d.swf I'm pretty far but I have still a couple of problems that I have to tackle. Hope somebody can point me in the right direction.. (if you know the answer to only one questions, please respond!) 1. How can I draw the X and the Y axis in this configuration? 2. Is it possible to use formatscale='0' next to the Y-axis and use the the abbreviated format above the columns? 3. How can I put the column-pairs closer to each other? 4. As you can see the grey columns are gradient from light to dark, the yellow ones visa versa, can this be accomplished? 5. My last question: is it possible to display the Competitors (grey) columns first and when they are finished the yellow columns? Screenshot designer chart: Screenshot My-Chart: My XML: <chart showLegend='1' legendPosition='Right' legendBorderColor='FFFFFF' legendShadow='0' showYAxisValues='1' divLineColor='FFFFFF' alternateHGridColor='FFFFFF' bgColor='FFFFFF' showBorder='0' canvasbgColor='FFFFFF' canvasBorderColor='FFFFFF' showPlotBorder='0' numberPrefix='
