Sanjukta replied to rite2rio's topic in FusionCharts and ASP.NET
Hi, Could you please try setting the value "Right" for the attribute "legendPosition" in the <chart> element to display the legend on the right side of the chart? Could you please try setting "alpha='0'" in the <trendLines> element to make the line transparent? Ref.- <trendLines> <line startValue='895' alpha='0' displayvalue='Average' /> </trendLines> Hope this helps. -
Modifying the XMLGenerator to set a static url for charts and FusionCharts.js file ?
Sanjukta replied to liberio's topic in General usage
Hi, Please refer to the following links to get detailed information on setDataURL and setDataXML methods: Ref.- http://www.fusioncharts.com/docs/Contents/JS_setDataXML.html http://www.fusioncharts.com/docs/Contents/JS_setDataURL.html Could you please specify this a bit elaborately? The XML generator is a tool that helps to generate the XML. Thus, it cannot be modified. The XML that is generated here can be simply copied and pasted to render the chart but cannot be used directly. Please revert in case you have any further queries on the same. -
Modifying the XMLGenerator to set a static url for charts and FusionCharts.js file ?
Sanjukta replied to liberio's topic in General usage
Hi, Could you please let us know if you are using setDataURL method or setDataXML method to render the chart? In case you are using setDataURL method where you have to fetch the XML from some different location, then the SWF file and .js file has to be kept within the same domain. Else this is not possible with FsuionCharts. In case you are using setDataXML method to render the chart, you can keep the SWF and.js file in any remote location. Please make sure the paths for those files are mentioned correctly. Hope this is some help. -
Decimals and properties when using URL-Encoded XML
Sanjukta replied to solace9's topic in General usage
Hi, Welcome to FusionCharts Forum. Could you please try using the attributes "decimalSeparator", "numberPrefix", "decimalPrecision" in the <chart> element of the XML (in the "charts-days;labs;earned;0.00;0.00;1.21;1.62;1.27;0.04;0;0;0;0;0.xml" file)? Please refer to the following link for further details on the Area2D chart's <chart> element attributes: Ref.- http://www.fusioncharts.com/docs/Contents/ChartSS/Area2D.html Please revert in case you have further queries on the same. -

Sanjukta replied to Mansi Shah's topic in FusionCharts and ASP.NET
Hi Mansi, You are welcome. Could you please try setting vaalues (in Pixels) for the attributes "chartLeftMargin" and "chartRightMargin" in the <chart> element to set the amount of empty space that you want to put on the sides of your chart? Hope this helps. -
MultiColumnDualY Negative values throws chart off balance
Sanjukta replied to G10's topic in XML Issue
Hi, Welcome to FusionCharts Forum. This issue is occuring because the second data-set is plotted against the Secondary Y-Axis. In PYAxis where one div line is representing the negative point, the same div line represents a positive value for the SYAxis. This cannot be changed until you give the value explicitly corresponding with PYAxisValues. Please revert in case you have any further queries on the same. -

Hi Nikhil, There are a few floating number issues which causes this error. Our developers are currently looking into this issue for a permanent fix. Also, could you please try setting the attribute yAxisMaxValue='100.000001' in the <chart> element? Hope this helps.

Hi Alex, I am afraid, FusionCharts does not support the data values to be moved in any direction on the chart, as of now. As a work-around, please try applying " Font Styles" on the "DATAVALUES" object to decrease the font size. Hope this helps.

How to display negative data values with brackets instead of negative sign
Sanjukta replied to kien's topic in XML Issue
Hi, Welcome to FusionCharts Forum! FusionCharts also allows you to specify custom string values instead of the numeric data values for each data item. Could you please try using a string value for the attribute "displayValue" in the <set> element ? Ref.- <set label='A' value='-234.0' displayValue='(234.0) /> Hope this helps.
