  1. Remove Gradient from Bars

I'm using the 3D Stacked Column Double-Y-axis Line Combo Chart (StackedColumn3DLineDY.swf). whew! 1) Is there a 2D equivalent of this graph? 2) Is there any way to adjust the depth and angle of the 3D columns? 3) I noticed that on the 2D Stacked Column Chart you can change the gradient color for the columns by simply adding color='ffffff,ff0000' to the dataset element. On this 3D graph, however, you can either have the 3D lighting effects turned on or off. If they're turned on, the color you specify fades to a darker shade. If they're turned off, there is no gradient at all, and adding the color='ffffff,ff0000' bit doesn't seem to work for me. I also noticed that the plotGradientColor attribute was not available in the data plot cosmetics for this graph, why would it be available for a 2d graph and not a 3d one?
  2. It might also be nice in some instances to be able to add a block border.
  3. Flattening chart file size

Hi, I'm new to fusionCharts, this is my first post and first time using the product. Right now in the gallery folder there are several .swfs used for to generate the xml-driven graphs. I wondered if I purchased the enterprise edition with the original .fla source files if I could strip unnecessary code or objects down to export a smaller sized .swf. If not, is there any other way that I could feasibly reduce the .swf file size? It would be nice to have a couple lightweight charts in some instances for our app. Thanks in advance, Mike Lead Media Partners
  4. Removing space between bars

Hi T, I looked through the documentation for column graphs and also for data plots and couldn't find a way to do this. The only thing I can think of is adding a thick border around the columns so they appear to touch. This would only look right if you had non-stacked columns with no gradient though. Post a follow-up if you find a solution that works. Mike
  5. Flattening chart file size

As a follow-up, I received an email from FusionCharts this morning saying one way to reduce file size would be to remove the embedded font. This would, however, make rotating text labels impossible. But in cases where doing that isn't required, this would be a very good solution. I wonder though, how much it would actually reduce file size. Any guesses?
