Please note that setXMLData() function takes XML embedded as string from the JavaScript. setDataXML(), which you have already been using in your application, although deprecated, this will continue to work without any problem. I am afraid, we are not able to replicate the issue, as the code is working fine from our end. Please find the screenshot attached for your reference. Hope this helps.
