Cannot get rid of droping lines for small countries

I do not want to display country labels of small countries such as Andorra or Vatican.

 

Hence I used showLabel='0' (see code below)

 

 

 

 

 

 

The label was not displayed. However I could not suppress the vertical (or horizontal) drop line.
