markers for airports

hi all i am new here, i am trying to find out if i can mark the airports on the map, i have list of airports with the airport codes and i can get the zip code associated with them or longtitude and latitude how i can use this data to show it on maps. any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for the info madhumita, i have one question are the "X" and "Y" are the actual Longtitue & Lattitude? How do i add find the X and Y for the specifc airport on the map. I am only intersted in US AIrports, is there pre-defined list of airports markers?

I'm afraid FusionMaps does not support Latitude/Longitude, as of now.

 

 

 

FusionMaps uses it own pre-defined Entities(Internal Id,Short name and Full name) List to plot the maps. Markers, on the other hand, are points that you can define anywhere on the map to represent various locations like cities, junctions, houses, office locations, malls or any other entity that needs a point representation.

 

 

 

However, are you looking for something like this?

The Map Specifiction Sheet and Marker XML section on the FusionMaps Documentation contains the Internal Id's of all the cities of USA map. You could use the Internal Id's/marker of the cities you would want to plot/display the airports of to achieve what you want, using FusionMaps.

 

 

 

The 'X' and 'Y' is the relative X-position of the marker and not Latitude/Longitude coordinates.
