Please explain how a trend line is calculated for display. Is based on averages or the difference between the first and last data points on display or is it something else? Thanks

Is it possible to drill down to see live data? For example, with a pie chart (or any chart for that matter) of sales statistics for various regions, I would like to drill down to see a list names and products, or any data I choose, that make up the region. Thanks
