  1. That is pretty close to what we wanted, except the area that is white, is covering all of the grid lines. When we set the alpha to allow those gridlines to show through, the blue shaded area also came through. We really only want that blue area shaded.
  2. We tried using areas to come up with the effect we were looking for. We only want the area that is blue to be shaded, and not the light green area to be shaded. We tried to make the green area white, but then we lost all the horiz grid lines... We are using the MSCombiDY2D.swf chart.
  3. Here is the XML we currently have... We tried different things with AREA's but with out any real success. Our requester does not want to see the area below AP_Coll1 highlighted We would like to shade the difference between series Collectable and AP_Coll1. <chart caption='Chart Title' subCaption='' 4. I have two lines on my graph and was wondering if it is possible to shade the area between the 2 lines. I have played around with using areas instead of lines, but didn't get exactly what I was looking for.
  5. Here is some sample code. When you arrive on this page, the charts are generated based off the first item in my drop down list. Once that drop down list is change, the page will post back, but only the word "Chart" is displayed in the div. When I step through my project, I see it generates new xml. Is this enough sample code? Any ideas? <asp:Table Width="100%" ID="Charts" runat="server"> <asp:TableRow> <asp:TableCell> <asp:DropDownList ID="ddlFacility" runat="server" AutoPostBack="True" OnSelectedIndexChanged="ddlFacility_SelectedIndexChanged"></asp:DropDownList> </asp:TableCell> </asp:TableRow> <asp:TableRow> <asp:TableCell><asp:Literal ID="LiteralExceptionsSiteSummary" runat="server"></asp:Literal></asp:TableCell> <asp:TableCell><asp:Literal ID="LiteralExceptionsSiteRate" runat="server"></asp:Literal></asp:TableCell> </asp:TableRow> </asp:Table> protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { base.CheckUserPageAccess(); try { if (!Page.IsPostBack) { // set page title and summar Label pageTitle = (Label)Master.FindControl("lblPageTitle"); Label pageSummary = (Label)Master.FindControl("lblPageSummary"); pageTitle.Text = "Exception Count and Rate"; LoadClientFacilities(); } string sSite_Num = this.ddlFacility.SelectedValue; string strExceptionsSiteSummaryXML = GetExceptionsSiteSummaryXML(); string strGetExceptionsSiteRateXML = GetExceptionsSiteRateXML(); LiteralExceptionsSiteSummary.Text = FusionCharts.RenderChart("../FusionCharts/Column2D.swf", "", strExceptionsSiteSummaryXML.ToString(), "ExceptionsSiteSummary", "600", "300", false, true); LiteralExceptionsSiteRate.Text = FusionCharts.RenderChart("../FusionCharts/Column2D.swf", "", strGetExceptionsSiteRateXML.ToString(), "ExceptionsSiteRate", "150", "300", false, true); } catch (Exception ex) { } finally { } }
  6. I am trying to upgrade to 3.2.2 Service Release 1. My c# app will load the initial charts fine. using the literal LiteralExceptionsSiteSummary.Text = FusionCharts.RenderChart("../FusionCharts/Column2D.swf", "", strExceptionsSiteSummaryXML.ToString(), "ExceptionsSiteSummary", "600", "300", false, true); However, I have a drop down list at the top of the page where I can change locations and the page posts back and all I get is the word "chart" written in the div. The old version worked fine when I used this method. <asp:TableRow> <asp:TableCell><%=GetExceptionsSiteSummary()%></asp:TableCell> <asp:TableCell><%=GetExceptionsSiteRate()%></asp:TableCell> </asp:TableRow> What is the work around, do I have to us the Update Panel method I have seen in the examples and other posts?
  7. ASP Class Question

    I figured out I have to change the way i include the class. #include file="/FusionCharts/Class/FusionCharts_Gen.asp" #include virtual="/FusionCharts/Class/FusionCharts_Gen.asp" My next question is, are there any examples on how to use the class to create multi series charts from a database. The way I was doing it in the free version was (I cut out some of the code) strXML = "graph caption='[REPLACE_WITH_NAME]' PYAxisName='CPH' SYAxisName='Accuracy' subCaption='Trend Report' xAxisName='Month' hovercapbg='FFECAA' hovercapborder='F47E00' " strXML = strXML & "formatNumberScale='0' decimalPrecision='1' showvalues='0' animation='1' numdivlines='9' numVdivlines='22' " strXML = strXML & "lineThickness='3' rotateNames='1' PYAxisMaxValue='50' PYAxisMinValue='0' SYAxisMaxValue='100' SYAxisMinValue='0' showShadow='0'>" strXML_CPH_dataset="" strXML_CPH_dataset = strXML_CPH_dataset & " strXML_CPH_dataset = strXML_CPH_dataset & "parentYAxis='P'" strXML_CPH_dataset = strXML_CPH_dataset & ">" strXML_Accuracy_dataset="" strXML_Accuracy_dataset = strXML_Accuracy_dataset & " strXML_Accuracy_dataset = strXML_Accuracy_dataset & "alpha='100' anchorAlpha='100' anchorRadius='4' lineThickness='2' parentYAxis='S'" strXML_Accuracy_dataset = strXML_Accuracy_dataset & ">" RS.MoveFirst Do until RS.EOF strXML_categories = strXML_categories & "" If variMinutesAtWork > 0 Then strXML_CPH_dataset = strXML_CPH_dataset & "" Else strXML_CPH_dataset = strXML_CPH_dataset & "" End If If NOT isnull(varCoding_Out_Of_Total) Then strXML_Accuracy_dataset = strXML_Accuracy_dataset & "" Else strXML_Accuracy_dataset = strXML_Accuracy_dataset & "" End If RS.MoveNext loop strXML = strXML & strXML_categories & strXML_CPH_dataset & strXML_Accuracy_dataset strXML = strXML & "/graph>"
  8. ASP Class Question

    Also, is there any reason to use the class over just creating the XML string?
  9. ASP Class Question

    We just purchased V3, and we are currently using the Fusion Charts Free. We are using these charts currently in a Classic ASP pages. I want to upgrade my existing charts. Right now I have my flash files for Fusion charts free stored in "FusionCharts" intranetwwwrootFusionCharts That way anywhere on this server I can reverence /Fusioncharts/ and I only keep one set of files. I have many little miny web apps in seperate folders on this server. I was going to try and use the asp class instead. If i Put a class folder in intranetwwwrootFusionChartsClass it does not like that when I include this in my page. Does anyone have any recommendations on how I should set this up. I cant remove all my free charts because it will take a while to reprogram them to use the v3 version. Thanks for your help
