diaryfolio Report post Posted March 30, 2012 Hi Fusion team I've started fusioncharts as part of new project as our vendor provided fusioncharts as part of their product. I thought the powercharts satisfied all needs and Hence i pushed for buying the license.. But after started working, it seems there are some missing element. Key things missing 1. Power charts - Node charts can only do one connection between a node to another node. So not able to do any flow-chart diagrams or technical models as multiple flows/feeds are between each servers 2. Power chart labels - the labels are just limited to horizontal orientation. Can this be made flexible? 3. Connector arrows - Is it possible to use external styling for connectors? cheers diaryfolio
Guest Sashibhusan Report post Posted April 2, 2012 Hi, Thank you for the post and interest in PowerCharts. Please find the response to your queries inline, below: 1. Power charts - Node charts can only do one connection between a node to another node. So not able to do any flow-chart diagrams or technical models as multiple flows/feeds are between each servers >>I am afraid, Drag Node chart of PowerCharts does not support multiple connections between two nodes as of now. Please note that you can establish one to one, one to many or many to one connection between the nodes with the connectors and can set the arrow of the connector either at origin or at end point or both, which may satisfy your needs. 2. Power chart labels - the labels are just limited to horizontal orientation. Can this be made flexible? >>I am afraid, changing horizontal orientation of labels in Drag-node chart is not possible as of now. 3. Connector arrows - Is it possible to use external styling for connectors? >>Yes, you can apply styles to connectors and connector labels by applying style to the objects "CONNECTOR" and "CONNECTORLABELS" respectively. For more information on "Drag-node Chart Specification Sheet", please follow the link below: http://docs.fusioncharts.com/powercharts/Contents/?ChartSS/DragNode.htm Hope this helps!
