Does Fusioncharts Xt Support Realtime Line Charts

Hi buddies,

 

My company is going to use FusionCharts in our project to do data analyzing. The following kinds of charts are required: column2D, column3D,pie2d,pie3D,Line2D and realtime Line chart. But it seems like that some of these charts(column2D, column3D,pie2d,pie3D,Line2D) are supported in FusionCharts XT(realtime Line chart), and some charts are supported in FusionWidget XT. But we can afford only one product. So does anybody have any good idea?

 

 

Does FusionCharts XT support realtime line charts OR does FusionWidget XT support column2D, column3D,pie2d,pie3D,Line2D? Thanks so much.

FusionCharts XT pack contains Column2D, Column3D, Pie2d, Pie3D, Line2D etc. charts and Real-Time Line chart comes under FusionWidgets XT pack.

 

You would need to use both the packs if you want to use simple charts and real-time charts.

But I can afford only one product. I have found out one way to fix this. I will use FusionChart XT and Ajax to implement the realtime refresh?

 

Is there any demo i can refer to?

Hi,

 

You can use FusionCharts XT and Ajax to implement real-time functionality.

 

But you would need to append whole chart data to achieve real-time update also you would need to write your own logic for it.

 

We do not have any implementation of FusionCharts XT and Ajax for real-time refresh.

 

Also note, the VML based browsers (IE7 and IE8) will have performance issues if you implement this mechanism.
