Matthias Report post Posted January 31, 2013 Hello, we are using your product in our software for a few years now. After a recent update we noted some inconsistencies between the HTML5 and Flash version. I attach some tests which we did with an example from your page: http://docs.fusionch...bed-string.html We modified the test to include special characters and unicode characters - depending on the displaying environment we get different results: Test 0 - Using Firefox (18.0.1) with a current Flash plugin (11.5.502.146) Special characters seems to be displayed fine but the unicode characters fail. Test 1 - Using Firefox (18.0.1) without Flash Some of the special characters get encoded but the unicode is displayed ok. Test 2 - Using IE8 without Flash Some of the special characters get encoded and the unicode characters fail. tests.zip
Guest Sumedh Report post Posted February 4, 2013 Hi, Welcome to FusionCharts Forum! Apologies for the delayed response. Could you please try once again by adding BOM stamp to your XML? You would need to save your chart XML with BOM stamp (UTF-8) using text-editor. For more information, please refer the following link: http://docs.fusioncharts.com/charts/contents/?advanced/special-chars/SpChar.html
