Open New Tab For Pure Javascript Chart Export Using Export.highcharts.com

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to have a new tab open when using the export.highcharts.com link for exporting a pure javascript chart. I am currently using a fusionchart in a browser application for the ipad/iphone, and when I try to export a chart it redirects to the exported image of the chart as produced by export.highcharts.com. However, this means I lose my application's current session.

Thanks!

Hi,

Welcome to FusionCharts Forum.

For exporting pure JavaScript charts, you could set up your own server using "Batik Library". But,  For this, you require PHP and Java running in your server.

For more information and step by step instructions on "Exporting Pure JavaScript Charts", please follow the link below:

http://docs.fusioncharts.com/charts/contents/?exporting-image/ECPureJS.html

Please note that the steps described in the above URL to setup your own server to process and export JavaScript charts, will work for the latest FusionCharts Suite XT v3.3.0 onwards, which will not redirect to "Highcharts" for exporting.

Hope this helps!
