randywickersham Report post Posted September 24, 2008 Hello, I've been using FusionCharts for about a year now and they are excellent. I'm now getting around to mapping and ran into a sticky situation. I'm mapping network paths, we have many paths with more than one link going from location A to location B which results in 2-5 connector lines appearing as if there is only one line. For further explanation let's pretend we have four circuits going from Los Angeles, CA to Boston, MA. Since they have the same origin and destination the four lines run on top of each other and the one on top effectively hides the other three. I will be color coding these lines based on performance criteria so visibility of each line is critical. A simple work around I came up with was to vary the widths of each connector that overlaps (largest on bottom, smallest on top) and vary their colors but I was wondering if there was a more elegant solution. I've thought about placing "dummy" markers that I do not display but try to use as begin/end point for the connectors to offset each connector enough to make them visible. Any further thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated.
