siconed Report post Posted March 30, 2009 Hi there, we build a 3D-Waterfall chart based on the Stacked Column 3D Chart and want's to display the real values of each "visible" (also negative values) element using the new "displayValue" attribute. Unfortunately, that the the Chat ignores the new attribute. An XML-File (WF.xml) to reconstruct the problem is attached. Dhruva Report post Posted March 30, 2009 Hello siconed, You might have forgotten to attach the XML file, because it doesn not seem to be available. To use the displayValue attribute, please update your chart to v3.1 and try once more. It is a free upgrade, available at http://www.fusioncharts.com/PUC
siconed Report post Posted March 31, 2009 Hi Dhruva Ghosh, sorry for the missing XML-File, here an other try... and we are using Fusion Charts 3.1. Best Regards Thomas Leonh WF_xml.xml
Dhruva Report post Posted March 31, 2009 Hello Leon, I went through the XML file. There were some problems as regards the formatting. The number and positioning of sets inside the datasets were such that the columns were not getting aligned. I have made changes which is generating an ouput like the image you attached. I am attaching the modified XML with this post. I hope this helps. Data.xml
siconed Report post Posted March 31, 2009 Hello Dhruva Ghosh, you wrote, that you generate an output like the attached image... The Image is the output of my XML-File (both are only a part of a bigger XML File and Image) and you can see, that the visible values are positive and are not negative like in the XML line specified with the "displayValue" parameter ... ... displayValue="-2.096" ... In my upload XML File I found a difference to the screen shot. In both datasets are one "set" element to much included. Now I correct my XML File and attach it again. Again, the problem is, that the visible value of the red bar should be "-2.096" and not "2.096" like it is in the screen shot!! siconed Report post Posted May 13, 2009 Hello Dhruva Ghosh, First: sorry for the huge delay in continuing this case. I downloaded the 3.1 Charts again and put the SWF-Files to the correct places. After that I invalidate all caches (SAP-Server, Proxy, Internet Explorer) and start the test again. This time the result is like the expected - this means the attribute "DisplayValue" work correct. Thank you for your help!!! Best regards Thomas
