Updating parts of a chart?

Hi

 

I was wondering if there is a way to update a chart - not the whole lot - just specific parts of it - for example a single column in a Column chart; instead updating the whole chart with setDataURL or setDataXML methods -i know i have seen a setData() method specified somewhere in the forum but could'nt really find it again. Can the setData() method used to update specific data in the chart? If yes, is there any code example for me to get things going?

I am afraid this functionality is not available in FusionCharts v3.

 

 

 

The setData() method that you mentioned was in the FusionWidgets Forum.

Oh ok, i thought there would have been a feature as such, cause that would reduce a lot of load on the server as well, since it does'nt have to send the whole xml each time - any work around to achieve this?

There are no workarounds for this.
