mokalovesoulmate Report post Posted October 14, 2009 Hello, I have using Pie3D on my sample data, I want to make it from first page load, the pie appears: 1. 2D 2. Sliced. I've been done already with sliced part but they still appear 3D when first pageload. Any solution how to make the pie appear 2D for each first page load? I am searching on the manual but I didnt find it. Thanks.
Guest Rajroop Report post Posted October 15, 2009 Hello, This is not possible using FusionCharts, as of now. To render a Pie chart as 2D, you would have to use the Pie2D.swf. However, if your requirement is to render the chart as a Pie 2D chart and then on clicking convert it to a Pie 3D chart, you could use our Drill down option, which is supported by FusionCharts, and drilldown from a Pie 2D chart to a Pie 3D chart on the same page. Please click on the link below for this: http://www.fusioncharts.com/docs/ > Drill Down Charts All the charts in FusionCharts v3 suite support drill down for data elements i.e., in each chart type, the data plot of that chart (columns in Column Charts, Pie slices in Pie Charts etc.) can act as hotspots for the chart. Using the drill down functionality provided by FusionCharts, you can easily produce charts that enact "drill down" or "zoom in (data)" capabilities. I hope this helps. mokalovesoulmate Report post Posted October 15, 2009 Hoho...unfortunately Pie2D cannot switch to 3D, but the 3D version can switch to 2D and this is I want. Its ok then. I will use 3D as default appearance only for now. Thanks !

Guest Rajroop Report post Posted October 15, 2009 Hi, To add, when you are using the Pie 3D chart, you may convert the the chart to 2D display mode by right clicking on the chart and selecting the 'View 2D' option. The chart is instantaneously converted to 2D display mode. I hope this helps. Ask more and get more out of FusionCharts, everyday!
