Display a Half Pie Chart in Real Time

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm using a Pie 2D Chart, and I would like to know if it's possible to display the half of the pie in this object.

I did some research but I can't not find any informations to do this.

Another solution would be to use an Angular Gauge without the needle but I don't know how to remove the needle from the chart.

My goal is to draw a "half pie chart" which updates itself in real-time : it's just the pieces/sectors of the half-pie which need to be updated.

If someone could help me for doing this or knows something about it, it would be very helpful!

Thanks in advance!

I am afraid, as of now, we do not have a real-time half Pie Chart.

However, as a work around, could you please try using the Pie Chart of FusionCharts suite, following the steps below:-

1) Please calculate the total value of the slices that you already have and then add the same number of slices with the same value to that Pie Chart.

2) Set the "alpha" of the later slices to zero.

Ref.- <set label='A' value='70'/>

<set label= 'B' value='70' alpha='0'/>

So, in the above case, the slice with label 'A' would be visible and the one with label 'B' would not be visible giving it a look and feel of a half Pie Chart.

Also, please try using the JavaScript method to update the chart.

Hope this helps. :)
