bigmijie Report post Posted January 21, 2010 Is it possible, with a line chart, to change the color of a line, depending on the value, and with a pleasant blended (gradient) effect? So it might be green for a low value, then merge to yellow for a medium value and them to red for a high value, all with an unbroken line.
Guest Basundhara Ghosal Report post Posted January 21, 2010 Hi, Welcome to FusionCharts Forum. Could you please try using the attribute "color" for each <set> element? Ref.- http://www.fusioncharts.com/docs?/AttDesc/DataPlot.html Hope this helps.
bigmijie Report post Posted January 22, 2010 Hi, Thanks, yes that's a step forward it will make that particular part of the line chart a different color, so it a low value goes to a high value the line will be green, however it does not merge through the colors, in between, just a solid color. Would it be possible, for example, to make a line use an image as it's background, if the image contained the gradient, that would do the job. Cheers
Guest Madhumita Report post Posted January 22, 2010 Hello, Would it be possible, for example, to make a line use an image as it's background, if the image contained the gradient, that would do the job. I'm afraid, FusionCharts does not have this functionality, as of now. Would you please consider using the attributes plotGradientColor in the chart element to impart a gradient to the line colors? ref. - http://www.fusioncharts.com/docs/Contents/AttDesc/DataPlot.html I hope this helps. Looking forward to your reply.
