chartObj.setDataXML is not a function error in ASP examples

I am using files supplied with FusionCharts 'Combining FusionCharts, ASP & JavaScript (dataXML) method' package

The initial Pie Chart on Default.asp displays correctly but on clicking the Pie Chart segments the following error messages are seen:

Firefox error:  chartObj.setDataXML is not a function

Internet Explorer error: Object doesn't support this property or method

As I am basically using all files as supplied by FusionCharts I am hoping there is a software bug that can easily be corrected. Can anyone let me know a possible soultion to the above problem?
