bla Report post Posted April 24, 2010 Hi, I'm trying to run the basic examples with FusionCharts_Evaulation - BasicExample.html and GetXML.html. The javscript functions and events are not firing. I've tried this both locally and behind an apache server. Any ideas why the examples are not working ? Thanks!
Guest Basundhara Ghosal Report post Posted April 26, 2010 Hi, Could you please try enabling the 'RegisterWithJS' attribute of the chart for the same? Ref.- var myChart1 = new FusionCharts("../../FusionCharts/Column2D.swf", "myChartId1", "350", "300", "0", "1"); Also, please check if the root path for the 'FusionCharts.js' file is mentioned correctly? Hope this helps.
gsogol Report post Posted May 5, 2010 Downloaded Retail Dashboard sample. The sample does include RegisterwithJS set to 1 already and all all js files are reference correctly already. Anything drillable does not work on numerous computers.

Guest Basundhara Ghosal Report post Posted May 7, 2010 Hi, In case you have downloaded the "Retail Dashboard" demo, you need to enable the 'Global Security Settings" for the folder/drive of your machine where you have downloaded the same. Please refer to the link below for the enabling "Global Security Settings" of the Flash Player:- Ref.- http://www.fusioncharts.com/forum/FindPost8077.aspx I hope this helps. gsogol Report post Posted May 12, 2010 That did it. You should put that verbiage when folks download any of your samples. But thank you. Any update on the release of jQuery plugin?
shamasis Report post Posted May 12, 2010 Greetings, You are most welcome. The jQuery plugin, as you may already be knowing, is currently in beta stage and primarily released for FusionCharts Free. However, this can also be used in FusionCharts v3. It would probably take another month to finally release the FusionCharts Free jQuery plugin and after that we will release the beta version of FusionCharts v3 jQuery plugin. The v3 jQuery plugin will have a lot more goodies for better integration with the advanced features of FusionCharts v3. You will get regular updates regarding jQuery at our jQuery forum: http://www.fusioncharts.com/forum/Forum73-1.aspx
