webchartuser Report post Posted June 3, 2010 Hello: We are using FusionCharts on our site and I want to know if we can control the size of the "line" that points to the section on the site. As as an example look at this page and scroll to the bottom right...the pie-chart appears very small and text is truncated. If we can reduce the size of the line then we could accomodate the chart within the existing space. http://www.recovery.gov/Transparency/RecipientReportedData/Pages/QuarterlySum.aspx Thanks,
Sanjukta Report post Posted June 3, 2010 Hi, Could you please try setting the sttribute 'enebleSmartLabels' to '0' in the <chart> element? Also, please try to specify the distance (in pixels) you wish to display in the attribute 'labelDistance' in the <chart> element. Hope this helps.
jco Report post Posted August 6, 2010 Turning off smart labels causes the connector lines to vanish. So how can this suggestion possibly help? I have a similar problem. I am unable to control the length of the line that joins the label to the segment of the pie. The result is that the lable text goes outside the rectangle allotted to the pie chart. Sanjukta Report post Posted August 6, 2010 Hi, I am afraid, FusionCharts doe not support the explicit control of the length of the Smart Label lines, as of now. Natively there is no solution to this issue, as of now. As a work-around, could you please try giving a smaller font size for the attribute "baseFontSize" in the <chart> element and see if it helps in the other way? Looking forward to your feedback.
