smorrisey Report post Posted June 11, 2010 Would it be possible to put error margins in Fusion Charts? See the attached email ErrorMargins.JPG These are used for statistical analysis to tell the user how reliable the data is. Regards Scott
Guest Basundhara Ghosal Report post Posted June 11, 2010 Hi, Welcome to FusionCharts forum. Could you please specify the issue a bit elaborately? Awaiting your reply.
smorrisey Report post Posted June 11, 2010 Hi Basundhara Thanks for warmly welcome! Our requirement is... If you look at the image of the bar chart in ErrorMargins.jpg each bar has a little line (error margin) at the end of the bar, this is another attribute/value associated with the bar value. An uncertainty in the value. ie the value could be in the range of this attribute Also on the multi-series line chart. At each value plotted ther is a corresponding vertical line on the y-axis, which is an attribute/value associated with the value that is displayed. This is displaying the possible range of the value. E.g. a bar on the chart could have a value of 75 but this value could be as high as 77 or as low as 73 so bar value would be 75 with an error margin of + or - 2. With 2 being the error margin. I'm hoping that clears things up a bit, but probably confused it further ;-) This is used by statisticians who have got some data to display on a chart but also have to display how accurate there data is.
