"invalid property id" returned when I try to export save an image to my server

I've been running into an issue where I save the image of the chart to the server and it saves correctly, but then instead of firing my exportCallback function, Firebug is saying that there is an "invalid property id" and pointing to the data that I'm attempting to return. I've tried returning both JSON and XML and I'm getting that message either way. Is there a param that I need to include in the data that I'm returning? Could I be missing anything?
