How Rich Can The Interaction Be?

Recommended Posts

Apologies for the absolute n00b question, and especially if I missed something obvious in my cursory examination of the documentation.

How rich can interaction be between an ASP.NET page and the FusionChart controls? Can you pass dynamic querystring parameters to the XML resource you're loading based on actions you take on the chart, or other behaviors of the chart? Looking to create clickable/drillable and drag/slide etc. type behaviors around sales, social and other cross-referenced and/or historical and/or projected data. I would expect to call against an ASPX page or webservice or other dynamic XML source that would receive various input parameters reflective of user actions and content of data/output.

Is this a reasonable/feasible thing with FusionCharts?

Thanks, but it doesn't. I've already been through those and I'm not yet confident I have an answer to my question. I did say, I've been through the documentation. I'm not looking for more documentation, or links to the same documentation -- I'm looking for a developer-to-developer conversation on this topic.
