JonathansCorner.com Report post Posted March 17, 2011 I am interested in making 3D bar charts, and instead of having a "degrade to HighChart html5 canvas" for iPhone and iPads, have a "degrade to server-generated exported image." What are the basic options to generate such images on the server-side, if that is an option? Thanks,

mschenkel Report post Posted March 19, 2011 (edited) I too was wondering the same thing. As far as I know, the Flash chart needs to be rendered in some capacity before it can be saved as a jpg. I have had limited success creating an automated Win32 app using Flash OCX controls to do this. But sometimes if there were any problems you could end up with a blank jpg/bmp (which was a little risky for my situation). Question: what do you have against using HTML 5?
