'Loading Chart...' Background

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have created a page using vb.net and dataXML. The charts that I am creating will be displayed on a 50" plasma screen in my office. Therefore, I have chosen the background color all around as black, for a less harsh display.

My problem is, the "Loading Charts..." screen is displayed for a split second and is completely white (with the gray progress bar and text). This quick 'flash' looks terrible when a chart is loading and everything else is black.

Is there a way to change the background color of that page to black, or even prevent it from showing completely?

Thank you,

~ Steve

Steve,

To change the background color of the movie, you can edit the source .fla and just recompile it. However, to skip the screen, you would need to change quite a bit in the code.

Thanks for your response. I take it this means I would need the full enterprise license?

Is there no other work around this problem so I don't have to upgrade or change the background to white?

Also, if my company is willing to pay for the enterprise license, how difficult will it be for me to make that change to the .fla file and will I need any other tools to do it?

Thanks again,

~Steve

Steve,

If it's just a couple of charts and you already have a license, you might as well tell us the chart names and color that you want. We'll change it, compile the same and send it to you for free.
