gbrookshaw Report post Posted January 1, 2008 By default the 2D pie and doughnut charts (and all other charts for that matter) have a standard light grey background (that can then vary based on palette setting). This doesn't seem to happen on the 3D version of pie or doughnut. Why is this? If there is no simple solution does anybody know the the default values for background colors (and borders) for each of the 5 palettes so I can set this manually. Pallav Report post Posted January 7, 2008 Hi, Internally, we've 2 different palettes for the 2D and 3D charts to make the graphics look better. For the 2D palette, the background colors are: "CBCBCB,E9E9E9", "CFD4BE,F3F5DD", "C5DADD,EDFBFE", "A86402,FDC16D", "FF7CA0,FFD1DD" 2 colors means that they gradient from 1 to another. gbrookshaw Report post Posted January 7, 2008 Thanks, what's the border color for these palettes? Is this a bug that the 3D versions don't have the background by default (all other 3D charts/gadgets do)
