Special Characters In X And Y Axis

Recommended Posts

I have isHTML set to "1" and I can't get the degree character (° or °l) to show up in the x or y axis. The problem is that it prints out as text instead of showing the special character. I'm using a multi y-axis combination chart. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Welcome to the FusionCharts Forum :)

Thank you for the post.

I am afraid, the degree symbol is not supported by FusionCharts.

Also, only limited number of HTML tags are supported by the isHTML attribute.

Hope this helps !

Here's my rub.

FusionCharts supports the degree symbol in the x-axis, why not the Y-axis? This is something that really needs to be in the documentation because when I read it to support special characters, I assumed it would be the entire html set, not just a few here and there but not here.... We paid a lot for this package and to be denied the most basic of things is, quite frankly, embarrassing because I recommended this product over much cheaper alternatives that have this support.

Please supply everyone with a list of supported HTML tags on the X, Y, and Title attributes by replying to this thread. People need to know this. Also please specify this in your online documentation. It's deceptive to make people assume that "isHTML" as a fully functional feature.
