Update Chart On Drill-Down

Hi,

 

So I have a drill-down chart and I update it using setXMLUrl(); When on the 1st level of the chart it works fine but if I'm inside the child chart, when I call the update, nothing happens.

 

So is there a way to either: update the child chart or reset back to the parent chart?

Hi,

 

Updating the child chart only is not possible.

 

If you update the chart using setXMLUrl() function, the entire XML data of the chart will be updated and it will re-render the parent chart with updated XML data.

 

So, you can update the child chart by providing the embedded decedent data in parent data using setXMLUrl() function.
