Drill-Down In Multi-Series Chart

How to implement drill down in multi-series chart where data format is JSON. Any code snippets? Thanks in advance.

As per your requirement, you would need to create the JSON data in FusionCharts Multi Series data format.

Please note that in the above mentioned link, you can find the JSON data for single series linked charts. You would need to create the JSON string accordingly for multi-series charts.

I have a question on this subject as well. Since you're starting with a multi-series chart (FusionCharts/MSColumn3D.swf) when you "drill down" it will continue to be a multi-series chart correct?

 

What if I want to from a multi-series to a standard 3D? Is that possible?

Welcome to FusionCharts Forum post.

 

The descendant charts (or children charts) should not necessarily be the same as parent chart. Linked charts can be drilled down to any chart type as per your requirement.

 

Mutil Series chart can be drilled down to Single series chart/Pie chart or any chart type.

So as I'm creating my script holder, what about this?

As mentioned earlier, Linked charts can be drilled down to any chart type as per your requirement.

 

Mutil Series chart can be drilled down to Single series charts and vice versa.
