rjk123 Report post Posted June 11, 2008 Hi, We recently purchased FusionCharts Professional Bundle. Although we are impressed with the feature set we are still missing some simple (?) features. Perhaps with some creative use of the existing features we can accomplish the same, however we haven't figured it out so far. We'd like to present a trend line graph with included standard deviation. We have all data available. I'd like to represent the standard deviation in the line width. So a graph with scores (vertical) for each month in a year (horizontal). Then I'd like to have the line width for eg. februari to be 2.5 and for januar to be 1. The variable linewidth should be smooth between nodes. We tried tricks by using two area's with different colors on top of eachother but that result in very angular lines, not nice. Make the vertical x-axis have a fixed distance from the start of the graph. Currently when the x-axis consists of small numbers (1 digit) the distance is smaller then when the x-axis scale is 4 digits long. Since we are using dynamic data the number of digits for the x-axis scale is not known beforehand. This makes that tabular data we want to present below the y-axis is not allways nicely alligned as are multiple graphs with different scales. Simple stock chart like graph with days-end scores in a line and high/low scores as small horizontal lines at regular intervals. Must be there somewhere but couldn't find. Candlestick Chart is not it. Any suggestions will be appreciated Thanks, Roeland
Pallav Report post Posted June 12, 2008 Hi Roeland, As for the multi-thickness trend line, I'm afraid there isn't a way that it could be achieved in FusionCharts As for fixed x-axis width, we provide an option like this in our data-streaming charts from FusionWidgets suite. They've parameters for canvas margin. As for the win-loss chart, candlestick chart is the closest we've. Else you may use a series of bullet graphs.
