Angular Gauge Dial Transparency

Is it possible to make the entire Dial of an Angular Gauge Transparent? I can make the border transparent with borderAlpha but I don't see a way to bake the background of the Dial Transparent.

I am afraid, as of now, you can not set the dial to transparent.
