element in Gantt chart - cannot set alpha

There doesn't seem to be a way to set the alpha of the task element, although such functionality is mentioned in the documentation. I want to have a transparent task bar, specifically for milestones. Is there a way to accomplish this? Thanks,

I am afraid, there is no work-around to this issue, as of now.
