How to put a caption on the map?

How can I put a caption at the top of my map? Something like "Hits by US State" ?

 

 

 

I tried: caption='Hits by State' however it didn't work.

The maps do not support caption - you can put them in your HTML outside the map.

Is this going to be a feature in any future releases? When the map is printed, and I give it to someone, they can't tell what it is without an explanation! There are other scenarios that I have needed this for as well...

I'm sorry but FusionMaps does not support any type of labels, sentence or otherwise, as of now.

I can place titles on the map using Markers, but the problem I am having is that Marker Label font and font size are set for all markers on the map (unless I'm missing something) so if you want to use markers in other places on the map, you're stuck with the title looking smaller than you'd like.

 

 

 

Is there any ETA for adding the Title feature? Or making marker label font properties available at the individual marker level?

 

 

 

 

 

PS. I haven't tried it yet, but I assume marker labels print.

I'm afraid, the Title feature and/or marker label font properties at the individual marker level, are not supported by FusionMaps v3, as of now.

 

 

 

However, the marker labels do print.
