Setting width of each bar in a graph

I have a graph that gets a new bar for each month. When we first start the graph, there's obviously only one bar. The problem with this is that the bar takes up the whole space of the graph, so I end up with a bar that's 600 or so pixels wide. How can I make it thinner, so instead I have a lot of empty room on the graph?

Could you please use plotSpacePercent='{Number}' in <chart> element and try again?

I think this could work...Is there a way to align the bar to the left instead of having it centered?

Maybe add the next months but with no value, that will make the bar more to the left.
