nicku33 Report post Posted January 8, 2007 There is a need to update the Fusioncharts Javascript class (the one derived from SWFobject) to test for Flash 8 when using fusioncharts 3. Is there a newer version that does this, to prevent a blank area, or has anyone patched the infosoftglobal.FusionCharts class to deal with this issue ? simulate Report post Posted January 11, 2007 Try the attached files by clicking on flashDetect.htm. The way to use this is to make flashDetect.htm your website launch page. If Flash 8 is detected and it passes, it will continue to index.htm, otherwise it will ask you to install Flash 8. Also it checks to see if javascript has been turned off or if Flash has never been installed.
